Digital Media Asia (DMA) is Asia-Pacific’s largest and foremost regional news media industry event on digital trends, revenue and technology. It returns for its 16th year in 2024.
In order to benefit a wider regional media community, we will be holding this event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
DMA has been at the forefront of transformation in the news media industry since its inception in Singapore in 2009 and attracts hundreds of top-level publishers, editors and digital executives who share best practices, business models, case studies, solutions and their experiences in the news media business.

The conference is organised into two tracks – the Digital Revenue Summit and the Technology Summit.
Speakers from renowned news media organisations from all over the world present their case studies and share their experiences about how they have successfully transformed their organisation and created sustainable digital revenue models for their companies.
Who should attend: Media owners, publishers, CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Chief Revenue Officers, Chief Digital Officers, editors, newsroom leaders, strategy and business development leads, and anyone who is keen on learning best practices from the best in the business from around the world. Ideas and solutions for all those invested in building sustainable news organisations.
We invite speakers from publishers and our technology partners to talk about how they are using tech to improve the workflow in their newsroom, making them more productive and efficient. This not only frees up their journalists to produce high value and quality journalism that makes a difference in our societies but also enables newsroom leaders to make better decisions about how to better engage their audience and attract new readers. Topics such as AI, data and analytics, how to make better technology decisions, and creative tech ideas to serve audiences better will be covered.
Who should attend: Anyone interested in how the latest technology is used in a modern newsroom and especially CEOs, COOs, CTOs, business heads, technology heads, technologists, data scientists, editors, newsroom leaders and decision makers who influence and make technology decisions.
Digital Media Asia provided me with rich insights that I can use as inspiration for our next discovery and experimentation focus. It also offered a benchmark overview of how publishers from various parts of the world are addressing similar challenges that we are facing.
Congrats to WAN-IFRA for a successful conference! The topics were very timely, especially now as newsrooms adapt to new technology.
I love the overall agenda which is quite balanced and varied. There is something for everyone.
